An Invitation from the  Metropolitan Community Church Sydney to Attend Our Upcoming Events

The Church Life Council of MCCS invites you to take part in the following events over the Easter-Pentecost period. Reverend Greg Smith will be with us during this entire time and will be conducting Baptisms, membership & study classes, discussion groups & training sessions. Greg is also happy to perform Holy Union Ceremonies whilst he is here.

Sundays 10am & 6.30pm at the Sanctuary
Worship Services at MCC Sydney

10th April  9am—1pm   Worship Leader Training Part 1. This is open to anyone who feels they might like to take part in leading worship in any way from coordinating a full service to just reading scripture, saying prayers or making the coffee. The theme for the first session will be “CELEBRATIVE WORSHIP” Benchmarks of Excellence.

11th April 1.30pm.—3.30pm  Membership Class Part 1. We will discuss the Statement of Faith and Theology of UFMCC.

12 April  7pm—8.30pm “Stories From The Past of UFMCC”. We will view the video God, Gays and the Gospel and share some of the history of the founding of our fellowship. This will be a moving night and I can assure you there will be plenty of laughter as well as the odd tear

Sunday 1.30-2.30pm, May 2 or 16 at the Sanctaury 
14th April  7pm—8.30pm Reflections on The Early Church. The book of Acts. We will look at the struggles of the early Christian community and see how that relates to our struggles at MCCS.

17th April  9am—1pm Worship Leader Training Part 2. The Practice of Worship. How do we do what we do in worship? How do we help people identify their gifts?

18th April  1.30—3.30pm Membership Class Part 1. We will discuss the Statement of Faith and Theology of UFMCC. (For those who could not attend last week)

19th April  7pm—8.30pm “Stories From The Past of MCC Sydney”. We will look at the history of MCC Sydney. How did it start? What have we achieved

21 April 7pm—8.30pm Reflections on The Early Church. We will continue to look at the struggles of the early Christian community and see how that relates to our struggles at MCCS.

26 April 7pm—8.30pm  “Making Our Future”. What does MCC Sydney have to offer our community into the future? What does our community need from us?

28 April 7pm—8.30pm Reflections on The Early Church. We will continue to look at the struggles of the early Christian community and see how that relates to our struggles at MCCS.
