FRIDAY 30th JULY 2010 - CHRISTMAS IN JULY
The church is holding a Christmas in July Dinner at 96 Crystal Street, PETERSHAM. Starting at 7.00pm, come along for a fun night of eating together and sharing stories. Bring a plate of something, if you are coming along.

We continue to be honoured by having 3rd Year Candidates of the Word from the Uniting Theological College. Our resident preacher for the morning and evening service will be Ms Esther Kim.

Esther is of Korean descent, and has completed her ministry studies. She is presently awaiting placement through the Uniting Church. Her recent sermons have been filled with wisdom, insight and a rich spirit. Come along to hear her speak for we believe God wants to confront you into a response relevant to God's word for you in today's world.

Esther will be with us for the month of August, so come along as we celebrate this relationship between MCC and the Uniting Church of Australia. But more importantly, come along to be blessed.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Mr Nigel Hawkens of Uniting Theological College, for spending time with our church in June. We were privilidged to hear a man called by God into ministry and for the enriching our faith during his time with us. We pray for every blessing that you will surely bring in the next part of your journey.

Rev Elder Diane Fisher visited Australia and stopped over at MCC Sydney to deliver a timely and necessary message on the Body of Christ. We pray for strength, courage and hope as she continues to witness for God through Global Justice.
