We understand you may feel anxious about visiting us. But if and when you do feel comfortable at last to walk through our doors, please know that you are welcome, however you choose to participate.
Upon entering MCC Sydney, you will be greeted by our friendly volunteers at the door. Feel free to say hello and let our volunteers know it is your first time at MCC. It is also fine if you wish to say nothing at all. You are under no pressure here.
Prior to the morning and evening services, people often gather in the foyer to socialise. You are welcome to relax before the service commences. Or you may wish to enter the Sanctuary immediately and reflect privately. |
Now you may come to us with strong preconceptions about what a church is or is not. We recognise it may take time to get used to our inclusive nature. All we ask is that you take the time to get used to the rhythms and structures of our worship styles, and not disrupt it for others.
The Spirit truly does move at MCC Sydney. We are committed to teaching and learning the message of Christ, to helping each other learn and grow with God and to spreading the gospel in a supportive, non-bullying manner. “I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.”
At MCC Sydney, you are loved, you are accepted and you are free.

The people sitting near you during worship services may come from a different religious tradition than you do. Still, we all worship together and celebrate the diversity God creates in us. |
