Advent Bible Study - Led by Dr. Mark Isaac Dalgleish
A four-week study with Advent themes —Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. You are encouraged to explore how Christ’s coming addresses existential concerns like anxiety, estrangement, courage, and ultimate concern. Each week the study aims to bring a renewed focus on Christ as the ultimate expression of God’s love, grounding us in the spiritual truth at the heart of the Advent season.
Wednesday 4th December, 7:30pm: Hope in the Face of Anxiety Theme: "Christ, Our Ultimate Hope"
Passage: Isaiah 9:2-7 “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light… For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.” Reflections for beforehand: Reflect on an area of your life where you feel you are “walking in darkness.” Where do you long to see light or experience hope?
