4 Week Study Series - Starts this

Wednesday, December 3rd at 7pm

with Dr Mark Isaac Dalgleish

Reawakening Hope, Preparing the Way, and Becoming Christ in the World. Inspired by Paul Tillich’s vision of faith as ultimate concern, estrangement as sin, and the courage to be, this series invites MCC Sydney to enter Advent not only as a liturgical season but as a sacred reorientation toward life, love, and new purpose.

This Week – Hope – Longing for More

Longing is not a problem to solve; it’s the beginning of transformation. We name our yearning—for meaning, connection, renewal—not as failure but as the spiritual spark of hope.

Reflections:

• What are you longing for in your own life?

• What are we longing for as a church community?

• What does it look like to stay spiritually awake, even in uncertain times?

MCC Sydney acknowledges and respects the Wangal people of the Eora Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which we are broadcasting our worship services during isolation.
We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging and welcome any First Nations people worshiping with us.
